RRB Technician Recruitment 2026 Notification Out – Apply for 6565 Posts
Short Information:
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the short notification (CEN No. 02/2026) for recruitment to the posts of Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III under Indian Railways. As per the official short notice, a total of 6565 vacancies have been announced across various Railway zones.
The detailed notification containing eligibility, zone-wise vacancies, syllabus, and application procedure will be released separately.
Click on the “Apply” drop-down menu and select “Create an Account”. (Note: If you already created an account for RRB ALP 2026 or NTPC 2026, you can skip this step and log in directly using your existing credentials).
Fill in basic details matching your Class 10th certificate: Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Parents’ Names, Email ID, and Mobile Number.
Verify your identity using Aadhaar Card Biometric/OTP Verification.
Set up a secure login password. You will receive an OTP on your phone and email to complete account generation.
Step 2: Fill out the Detailed Application
Log in with your registered mobile number/email and password.
Select CEN No. 02/2026 (Technician) and choose the specific RRB Zone (e.g., Central Railway, Northern Railway) you want to apply to.
Fill out your Personal Details, Contact Address, and Category (Community details).
Enter your Educational and Technical Qualifications:
For Grade I Signal: Details of your B.Sc (Physics/IT/CS/Electronics) or Engineering Diploma/Degree.
For Grade III: Details of Matriculation (Class 10) plus ITI/NCVT certificate in relevant trades.
Step 3: Upload Scanned Documents
Photograph: Recent color passport-sized photograph (JPEG format, 30–70 KB) with a plain white background.
Signature: Clear running hand signature (JPEG format, 30–70 KB) on plain white paper.
Caste Certificate (SC/ST only): Required to claim fee exemption and a free sleeper class train travel pass (PDF format, up to 500 KB).
Step 4: Fee Payment & Final Confirmation
Pay your respective application fee through the online portal using Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, or UPI.
Enter your personal Bank Account Details carefully; your fee refund (₹400 or ₹250) will be credited back to this account after you appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
Preview your entire application form to eliminate any spelling errors, then click “Submit”.
Download the confirmation PDF and keep a hard copy printed for document verification.
